Murchison Falls national park

This is the Uganda largest protected area with 3,840kms lies at the core of the greater Murchison falls conservation area and lies at the North end of the Albertine, Rift valley where the sweeping Bunyoro escarpment tumbles into vast palm dotted savannah with the languid Nile being transformed into an explosive troth of thunderous white waters as it funnels through a narrow cliff in this rift valley escapement and is easily the most impressive sight of its type in East Africa.
You will be here on the Victoria Nile that plunges 45 meters over the remnant rift valley wall crating the dramatic Murchison falls.
Here at Murchison fall the Nile squeezes through an 8 meters wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar in to the Devils’ cauldron” creating trade mark rainbow.
