Een geweldige complete rondreis van Sipi en Kidepo tot de bekende parken in het zuidwesten met deze company gedaan. Goede accomodaties, veilig en goed vervoer, hele vriendelijke chauffeurs (Reward en Gérard) met heel veel kennis van dieren en het land! Beautiful trip through Uganda with our Guide / driver Lauben, who drove us around the country in the jeep. Lots of fauna and flora and also contacts with the local population and local tribes. Highlight were the gorillas but also the other animals we could spot near or far on the various game drives were top notch. Beautiful Uganda!
We booked a trip to Uganda for myself and my husband with a Belgian tour agency, which was using Kigezi Vima Safaris as their partner locally. We booked an 18-day private tip around the country with a driver guide and could not recommend it enough. The country is truly magnificent and we had an amazing trip. It was our first time travelling in this part of the world so did not know exactly what to expect. Kigezi Vima Safaris and our guide Martin completely met and even exceeded our expectations though. We were picked up by Martin at the airport upon arrival without an issue despite having significant delay and arriving very late at night. He took over every aspect of the organisation and logistics of the trip from then on and everything run smoothly. We never had to worry about anything, he took care of everything along the way - checking with hotels before we arrive, arranging for our lunch to be prepared upon arrival after long journeys, making sure any issues with the accommodation were resolved before we even realised anything was going on. At the same time, he was knowledgeable and personable guide, always ready to share his knowledge and going above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. What is more, he did so always in good spirits despite the often gruelling schedule. From game drives, to community visits, to nature walks - Martin really made our trip unforgettable. Since this was our first time travelling with a guide, we were a little apprehensive about spending so much wine with a stranger for the whole duration of the trip. We needn’t have worried. Martin was a great companion - friendly, personable, social but also considerate and polite. We had many great conversations over shared meals but also never felt that we did not have time for ourselves either. We had the most fantastic experience in Uganda. This country showed itself at her best! All of our family (5 adults) were most interested in the wildlife and our great guide Juma showed us all what we wished for! With his hawk eyes, his knowledge of both mammals and birds, his sense of humour and his inexhaustible knowledge of Uganda, he made this trip unforgettable for us. Fantastic trip trough Uganda!
I booked a group trip through a Belgian travel company organized by Kigezi vima safaris. The trip was to perfection! Gerald and Reward waited for us at the airport and showed us around Uganda for 3 weeks. It was a busy schedule which allowed us to see a lot of the country. The nature in Uganda changed every time. The guides were extremely pleasant in the car and knew how to tell us a lot. If we wanted to stop for the toilet or food they arranged it as soon as possible. We got good information at the end of the day about what to do the next day. The trip was fantastic! It was very well organized. We didn't only do the touristy things but also the non-touristy parts so we got to see the "real" Uganda. For me it remains a unique fantastic experience! Unforgettable Uganda!!!
We booked the Uganda trip via Beyond Borders who works together with Vima Safaris. It was an unforgettable 18 day round trip, led by our amazing guides Reward and Gerald. This trip truly exceeded all our expectations. Uganda is a surprisingly green and diverse country. We didn't just see the “safari Wildlife”, but also countless unique bird species, chimpanzees, mountain gorillas, all within a highly varied environment: from savannah plains to dense rainforests, mountain hills with volcanoes in the background, and so much more. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Each day had its own unique highlights. Our guides, Reward and Gerald also made this journey unforgettable! Their professionalism, enthusiasm, knowledge of their country, nature and animal species is truly admirable. Vima Safaris did a really good job in selection lodges to sleep, places to lunch at and activities to do. Everything was very well taken care off. Top quality experience touring Uganda with friendly, fun and experience guide!
We had the most incredible experience touring Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo National Park with Kigezi Vima Safaris - highly recommended when visiting Uganda! We were so fortunate that Reward is not just a quality guide and driver, but a genuinely lovely and fun person to be around for the trip. His endless care, immense professionalism, enthusiasm, extraordinary knowledge of his country, nature and wildlife made it a truly memorable time. We loved Reward's cheeky sense of humour, whilst being totally at ease, ensuing our every need was considered and catered for. He helped us get to know local fruits, drinks and culture too, not just the inside of tourist hotels and standard souvenir shops! Reward also recommended wonderful places for us to stay and helped plan the whole trip - really going above and beyond to make it a seamless tour. When he wanted to show us something extra, it was because of a genuine keenness to showcase the culture and meet people of Kigezi region. We were recommended Reward by the team at Conservation through Public Health, who run the excellent Gorilla Conservation Camp in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park - the best place to stay on your tour with Kigali Vima.
